This bachelor´s thesis is focused on storing and logistics operations with non-reversible packaging material in a industrial company. In analytical part is analysed current situation of non-reversible packaging material, its storing and process of supplying production units with this material. In proposal part are suggested some improvements and possible contributions in case of applying these improvements.

The subject of the diploma thesis is storage and current storage technology in a business company. The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical basis of logistics, supply, international trade and especially warehousing. The practical part is focused on the current situation in the company and inventory analysis. Based on the analysis and all the findings, two proposals were submitted that could contribute to the company to improve the current storage and storage technology and thus increase customer satisfaction.

The master's thesis deals with possible adjustments in the company's inventory replenishment strategy, which are in accordance with the analyzed factors of the external and internal environment of the company and which respond to the problems arising in the input logistics processes in which this strategy is implemented. The proposed strategy adjustments bring a new perspective on inventory management through inventory optimization and categorization according to differentiated inventory management approach, even in relation to inventories that are subject to deterioration.

Thesis solve problem by introducing Kanban system in field of inventory management, ABC analysis and evaluation of suppliers in the area of purchasing. The purpose of the master´s thesis is to submit suitable solutions, which can improve existing processes in inventory management and purchases.

For each category will be defined management strategies so as to obtain optimal inventory levels, while minimizing costs and ensuring trouble-free production.

The master’s thesis deals with study of the supply management in production company Česká zbrojovka, a.s. The theoretical solutions deal with spheres needed for determination of optimal supply of the specified materials. On the basis of an analysis of the actual state of affairs, conducted ABC analysis (analysis and calculation of the optimal supply for specified materials) contains the proposals and methods for economic order quantity for other inventory. The outputs of my thesis are the methods of the dealing with optimal supplies and the proposal.

Main subject of this master thesis is inventory controlling in Siemens Elektromotory, s.r.o. (Ltd), plant Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. In theoretical part are described the essential topics as the controlling generally , then substance of the the inventory controlling and the importation of inventory for the company, their classification and reasons, why is it so important to go in for the inventory controlling. In the practical part the thesis describes current situation in the company and current controlling toolls in inventory field. Then is described the process of developing new inventrory controlling program and the contribution of this program for inventory management. In following part is performed the ABC analysis of invetory acording their proportion on the total consumption. Based on this part are formulated suggestions for setting up new consignment stocks and calculated the influence on the company asset management
